40 Years of Local Impact, Built by Community

A Mission Rooted in Real Community Needs

Finding safe, affordable housing in Wayne County can feel out of reach for many families. We bring people together to change that—partnering with families, volunteers, and local organizations to build homes that create stability and opportunity.

Since 1986, Habitat for Humanity in Wayne County has worked alongside the community to build and renovate homes for families ready to take the next step forward. Through shared effort—including volunteer support and family partnership—we create more than housing. We build confidence, independence, and stronger neighborhoods.

From Wooster to communities like Orrville and Rittman, this work continues to grow—because when we build together, we build something that lasts.
